Brahman Herd Sires
|
With the intentions of improving the genetics and potential of F1 Polled Hereford x Brahman replacement females, Tschirhart Enterprises has integrated artificial insemination using sexed semen into our breeding program.
Below are two of the sires we have selected for the 2019 breeding seasons based on their own performance, progeny performance, EPDs and physical evaluation. |

A.I. Sires
Mr Kallion 1352The majority of the Spring '20 F1 heifer calf crop is
sired by Mr. Kallion 1352. 1352's calves are deep bodied, heavy boned and have exhibited exceptional docility from the start. We have continued using him heavily as we breed for next spring's calf crop. |
Mr. H Bogota Manso 253/1While we do not have the same number of heifers out of Mr. H Bogota Manso 253/1 as compared to 1352, his heifers have been quite impressive and fancy to the eye.
Bogota is known for his muscle, volume and bone; as well as increasing the milking ability of his daughters. |
Herd Sires
Mr Z+ 32- Mr SNS Godfather 255In March 2020, we purchased Mr Z+ 32, aka Boone, from Big Drop Ranch out of Hondo, Texas. His pedigree and EPDs, combined with sound phenotype will be ideal paired with our cows. His numbers boast low birth weight, massive growth, while still maintaining outstanding maternal traits.
His first calf crop will arrive in Spring 2021. |
ECC LG Polled Rio King 150/8 (P)In June 2020, we added another Brahman bull to our herd. 150/8, or Buck as we affectionately call him, was from England Cattle Company out of Mercedes, Texas, who are known for Polled Brahman genetics.
His EPDs, tout low birthweight combined with an impressive pedigree. We look forward to his first calf crop in Spring 2021. |
