While we're striving to create the optimal F1 heifers, we also recognize the value in producing replacement females for our own operation. With that in mind, we are utilizing the two AI sires below using both conventional and sexed semen.

KCF Bennett Homeland C34In 2018, we bred five cows to Homeland, and all five calved to the AI date! Since then, we have used sexed semen with similar results. We are looking forward to a handful of Homeland daughters coming Fall '20.
Homeland is appreciated for his capability to complement most breeding objectives.

DJ
In January 2019, we purchased DJ from David Jungman out of Castroville, Texas. As a weaned calf, he immediately caught our eye and we had to have him. As a yearling, he played his part as cleanup bull for our heifers that we AI'd to Mr Kallion 1352. In Spring 2020, we had four calves sired by DJ. The two heifers and two bull calves are quite pleasing, and we'll be looking forward to retaining the heifers in our herd.
This spring he will be breeding heifers and being used as cleanup on cows and heifers AI'd.
